Currently, preserving HDR metadata such as maximum brightness and average brightness requires CPU software decoding. If NVEnc is integrated, it would allow the GPU to handle the workload while still retaining these HDR metadata details. This is a feature I need very much. Many video encoding tools already support NVEnc, such as Vidcoder, FastFlix, and HandBrake. However, I’ve always been accustomed to using ShanaEncoder.

If video compression relies solely on CPU software decoding, the efficiency will be very low. Please consider this, development team. Thank you!
