제가 다니는 대학이 매주 시험을 보느라... 좀 늦었네요..^^;;

 

약속했던 NVEncC 결과물입니다.

 

바로 다시 공부하러가야만해서 화질 확인은 못 했습니다만

    제가 요즘 급한 용무가 생겨서 다음 주에 살펴보고 피드백 드리겠습니다.

    일단 특징적인 점 몇 가지 추려보면,

     

    • Target Quality 값이 28에서 줄어들수록 (화질 향상을 위해) 인코딩 속도가 아주 미미하게 줄어들긴 하지만 거의 차이가 없이 150~152fps 정도로 약 6x 정도의 괜찮은 속도가 나온다는 것
    • Target Quality 19 이하로는 비트레이트/용량 변화가 거의 없어 사실상 거의 동일하다는 것
    • Target Quality와 무관하게 항상 I-프레임 17개, P-프레임 482개, B-프레임 1,307개로, 총 1,806개의 프레임으로 인코딩된다는 것 (원본의 프레임 수와 동일)

     

    이 정도가 눈에 띄는군요.

     

    Pascal 아키텍쳐의 B-프레임 없는 인코딩과의 화질 비교를 위해 제 1060에서 Target Quality 28~19 인코딩을 진행해서 원본을 기준으로 PSNR, SSIM 값들을 뽑아야겠는데, 일단 시간이 좀 걸리는 관계로 시간 날 때 정리해서 팁게에 올려볼 생각입니다.

     

    한 가지 의문이 드는 건, VE(Video Encode, 즉 NVENC 엔진) 점유율이 생각보다 낮군요. 어째 90%를 넘는 게 없네요. 이건 왜 그런 걸지 궁금합니다. HDR이라서 그런 걸까요? 이것도 1060과 비교해 봐야겠군요.
